Please keep with me, I dont know how long this post will be.

I got linked to a thread on a David Icke forum about half an hour ago, it was talking about mirrors and how this can bring spirits into the area.

A couple of years ago I was on holiday, I was sleeping in the same room with my brother and the room partition door was open connecting to my parents room, the bathroom was more or less opposite that. One night I woke up because my brother switched the air conditioning on full and I was freezing, as I turned over I seen a figure of a man holding a knife besides my brothers bed looking over him, there was a figure of another man going into the bathroom. Looking back after reading that thread I realised that the mirrors were facing each other. Needless to say I was at the time terrified and still shaken a bit today by what happened (I was only 12/13), people always thought maybe it was because I might have been half asleep but I cant say it ever was. Nothing was there but I just wanted to know what it could have been... was it me imagining it or something else?

Any help is greatly appreciated and I apologise if this is in the wrong forum.

One of the bizarre things was, when I searched David Icke on youtube I came across a clip of him on Terry Wogans show, I got the strongest feeling of deja vu I have ever had.

What ever happened to your brother , family?
Have you checked the location out?
Have you seen this figure anymore?
Some people say that mirrors are evil, I personally haven't had any experiences with them.
Can you tell us anything else on this?

Mirrors have always been shunned by the religious due to the fact they recreate an image of life. This is allegedly a sin as "god is the only one who can create life". Many believe that our shadow counterparts live in the world beyond the looking glass and that when the conditions are right, we may just catch a glimpse. I personally believe that a mirror is by nature, a reflector of light and for this reason can play tricks on us more effectively than any other household object....

I have never had any strange experiences involving mirrors before, but I have heard stories of them. I also knew a magick practitioner once that used a mirror as their focus. So maybe there is some merit to the idea.

I find mirrors en masse to be creepy. So maybe others have shared that feeling and attributed them with supernatural qualities?
