My mom's side of the family has a history of being able to see things that other people don't see... Things that can't be explained. I had my first real experience when I was about 12 years old, when I was on the computer on a typical Saturday at my house, which was, at the time, only a year or two old. My dad usually would like to scare me by jumping out of the hallway when I wasn't expecting it, so I thought the figure I saw in the corner of my eye was just him. I turned around, and said "Dad, that's not fun---" but cut myself off. The figure was the silhouette of a man, like a shadow. It turned into a sphere and flew away through the wall to the right of it as soon as I looked at it directly. It didn't scare me at all, and I just looked at the clock, which said it was 12:30 midnight exactly, and went to check on my parents, who were both asleep. I went to bed and told my parents about it the next morning. Mom is convinced it was a demon, but I don't know. I'm now 15 and still having experiences, which if you would like I would be glad to share with you. So am I psychic or stupid?

Sometimes when on the computer your eyes relaxes to a point you think you see things. Sometime u really do see things.
I wouldnt call it a demon as your mother called it. Have you seen this " thing " since, or has it done anything to you or your family?
Just tryin to get a little more information on this " thing" .

I honestly think spiritual occurrences are often misdiagnosed as mental disorders. Calling yourself insane or stupid is just a conditioned response. Trust your senses. You saw what you saw. Whether it was a trick of the light or an actual spirit, may be indeterminable, but yes, I would like to hear about other experiences.

As far as demons, I believe they exist ( at least I believe malicious spirits exist.), but I don't see any evidence of intentions one way or the other.

There was one Halloween that I experienced something really weird... I was in my grandmother's (yes, the one that has experienced paranormal things herself) living room after being dropped off by my parents to go to a party. Her four cats were in her bedroom with her, which means I was alone in the room. I found it hard to fall asleep, as for some reason I was getting a really creepy vibe... I don't know what time it was, but I heard something coming from the door to the house across the room that sounded a lot like heavy boots. The sound was quite loud, despite the floors being carpet. I was instantly terrified, hardly breathing and not daring to move a muscle. The sound moved from the door over to the couch where I was trying to sleep, and I felt-- maybe "sensed" would be a better word-- Someone leaning over me, and though I was looking out into the room, and right at whatever was looming over me, I saw absolutely nothing. I was paralyzed with fear, not moving and not breathing. After a few minutes, whatever the thing was moved away, and I could hear those heavy footsteps cross the room and disappear in front of the door where it started.

There was also a time where I had a weird "vision". My grandmother and my mom were talking about my grandfather, nicknamed "Pop" (my mom's dad), who had passed away a couple of months earlier. My dad's dad, who we just call Grandpa, was mentioned, and I just sat there. Suddenly, the phone began to ring, and I stood up and answered it, moving to the middle of the room. It was my dad on the phone, and he told me that Grandpa had just had a heart attack and died. The next thing I knew I was back in my seat, and I had never moved. Mawmaw (grandma) and mom stared at me like I was crazy.... I was breathing hard, and I was sort of in shock. I had no idea what had just happened. I still don't. There are some other things that have happened to me, but, these to me are the only ones that seemed important to me.

As to the latter, insane is a widely used word. To question ones self as to sanity, almost alwaays mean they are perfectly sane. from what I read, I'd go with psychic. I got it from my father's side of the family and it took a little use to but one I mastered it and not the other way around, everything has been fine. Best of luck. I have had many similar experiences to yours. (I don't have any history of mental illness and it doesn't run in my family at this time.) After moving into an older home, I had two scare-the bejesus-out-of-me experiences and I had to get serious about getting rid of whatever It was. My dog was with me during the last experience and she also was extremely frightened, so I know she saw "It" also so "It" wasn't from my imagination.

I had an Greek Orthodox priest bless my home, basement, garage, and the attic. I put up blessed icons in each room and I started to pray again.....for myself and for God to get rid of "it".
I have made an effort to stay away from dark activities and people involved with the dark arts.

Since getting away from the "dark activities" I have had only one spooky experience and this experience may have only been because I was very tired. If you are involved in any "dark" actvities, you might try getting away from them. This has worked for me.

Another thing that happened a couple of times was weird moments of deja-vu... Like, I would go to sleep, and dream of doing an assignment of some sort, and then I would go to school and do the same assignment, and sit there confused because the page I did the assignment on is blank. I also once had a weird dream about being at some sort of unfamiliar location a couple of years ago, and when my friend invited me to a church lock-in Halloween Party, there was a moment when I remembered the same exact person in the same exact place with the same exact facial expression as what was seen in my dream. Note that I have NEVER BEEN THERE OR SEEN THIS PERSON BEFORE. I thought that was odd as well.....

Of course, other members of my family, namely Mom and my grandmother (A.K.A Mawmaw), have had experiences too, which they have told me about. Should I post them as well?

I for one would be very interested in hearing about more experiences that happened to both you and your family members.

Nor crazy either, you just have one of the many forms of the sixth sense, where you can see entities...actually you've got a couple at least, sounds like you've got some form of premonition as well.
