Post Watchers
Here is what my research has turned up:

The watchers are a race of spirit beings recognized across many different religions and cultures. They are also known as the Grigori, Irin, and four winds among many lesser used names. They are divided into four groups. Each group is associated with a direction of the compass North, South, East and West. Many also attribute each group with a particular element, season and star: Earth, Fire, Air and Water respectively. each group is also associated with many specific names.

North: Earth, with the star Formalhaut marking the winter solstice.

South: Fire, with the star Regulus marking the summer solstice.

East: Air, with the star Aldebaran arking the Spring equinox.

West: Water, with the star Antares marking the Fall Equinox.

The watchers in Enoch are said to be just 200 of a much larger group. The watchers are also found in Greek and Sumerian texts. Wiccans often evoke the watchers to watch over their ceremonies and rituals.

In witchcraft, a watcher may be summoned and bound to a particular symbol or design. The design involves an eye or many eyes and can be as detailed as a portrait of someone or as simple as a circle with a dot in the middle. The witch then puts this symbol or portrait somewhere they want watched. Through ritual, they can communicate with the watcher and know everything it knows.

Examples in witchcraft: Covens may require members to get a tattoo of the group's watcher-bound symbol. Some groups will draw eyes on walls near secret places they do not want disturbed and attach a watcher to the area.
Watchers may also be bound to a portrait or a piece of jewelry and given to someone the witch needs to spy on.
According to tradition of the masons, the all-seeing eye is connected to the head mason who knows everything it sees. (Which if this is true, anyone with a dollar bill can potentially be spied on by the Master mason.)

Take it as you will, this is what I found.

First, the idea of a "good" demon is an oxymoron. A lesser demon yes; good, never.

My thoughts exactly.

Demons can be the epitome of patience.

Agreed. Don't EVER assume a demon of any sort is "good" just because it's taking its sweet time. These things are ageless. Being around for so long could force patience upon them, if they didn't already have it.

It seems you don't really want to be rid of him, and I am curious as to why.

Though I don't think this is the case, but simultaneously I'm not physically there to develop much of an opinion either way, perfect possession is a possibility. A demon could possess someone to the point that the person is unwilling to be rid of it (so I've heard).

I don't think anyone was trying to convince you of a religeous answer, but merely offering you written material that speaks about demons and their tricks.

Again, agreed. I consider myself agnostic (in my case, meaning I don't believe there is or is NOT a God; I'm sort of on the fence), but still take in information as it comes to me on these subjects whether the information is religious or not. It's difficult, if not impossible to discuss the topic of demons without bringing in religion in some way. In all religions, there are good and bad entities. Religion will be and has been brought up. Simple as that.
