Post My "Protector"
Hey, I'm new to this site and I'm not sure where to go for all this so I decided to see if anyone here can maybe help me understand what's going on better.

I have something following me around at all times, wherever I go. It has never appeared to me, and only talks to me when I ask it questions (using a pendulum). It has told me before on numerous occasions that it is here to protect me and it was sent by something higher up. It does respond to a nickname I gave it: Barduel. It says it's not it's name, but it does like the sound of it.

Here's the issue though, it is by far the most powerful entity that me or my friend has ever experienced. So much that, it has blocked every other spirit in the vicinity from coming near me when it chooses to. It also has attacked other spirits that came after me, and has driven some others away when I asked it to. So far, it has only responded badly to my one friend because he continuously challenges it. However, the big problem is that it is draining me continuously. As a result, I'm getting weaker, and I'm sick on a regular basis.

It has told me many times, that it is here for my own good to protect me from "the watchers". I don't know what the watchers are, but I've read some things about them being renegade angels and whatnot. I don't know if that holds any ground. But whatever the case is, the thing following me has a tendency to lie about it's intentions and I would like to know what I should interpret this as. I must point out, I feel no hostility from it, nor any negative feelings at all. It just hangs around me, not responding unless I talk to it.

Sorry if all of this seems long-winded

Your Guardian Angel would not speak to you using anything but a very holy instrument or a very holy person, if at all.

You are communicating with a demon. Here are two books for you to read.
Hostage to the Devil: The Possession and Exorcism of Five Contemporary Americans by Fr. Malachi Martin

The Demonologist: The Extraordinary Career of Ed and Lorraine Warren

One of these books talks about a doll that began to communicate with two young ladies....it was a demon and not a doll. Another story was about a young person that used some method to communicate with what she thought was a poor, sad, lonely little ghost boy that only needed a friend....it was also a demon. Don't allow this demon to trick you into being able to enter into your life. You may not be able to get it out of your life.

You said "It is draining me. I am getting weaker and sick. It attacked my friend when he challenged it." CLEARLY THIS IS NOT A GOOD SPIRIT OR YOUR PROTECTOR. Stop communicating with it immediately and save your friends from getting possessed by it also.

That's not the case, it said it was a demon and even clarified: a lesser demon. I've been able to communicate with spirits at will now, and I've spoken with good and evil demons. So I have a feeling about which ones are good or evil before I even ask them. This one is not good or evil, it gives off a neutral vibe, and doesn't seem to care about anyone else but me. Like I said, it only attacked my friend after he repeatedly challenged it and threatened to banish it.

If this was an evil spirit, it wouldn't listen to my requests and protect me from the more malicious spirits. Which is has several times. I used to have something in my house that would repeatedly come after me and make my life hell at home. Whatever this thing is drove it off and it hasn't come back since. And no other spirits have haunted me since then either.

It said it was draining me because it needed energy to stay here. I feel like there's more to this than meets the eye. That, this is more than just a regular haunting. Because this thing listens to me, and has had plenty of opportunities to possess me and my friends and has not.

I really appreciate the explanation pter, but if this thing wanted something out of me, it would have requested it. If it wanted to kill me, it could have by now. It doesn't talk unless I speak to it, and that alone makes me question any evil intentions. And I'm really interested in why it said it's protecting me from "The Watchers".

Please read the book I listed by Fr. Malachi. He was an extremely respectable priest and exorcist. He held 5 doctorate degrees and was (obviously) well educated. You can buy these books used off of Amazon for a few dollars.

When you finish Fr. Malachi's book, please let me know what your opinion is about his theories.

Have you ever heard of the Book of Enoch. This is a book that was not placed in the Holy Bible as Protestants know it. This is a book that is authenticated and some believe was written by Noah. It is accepted as canonical by some parts of the Eastern Orthodox Church ( Coptic Orthodox and Ethiopian Orthodox.)

Google “the watchers of the Book of Enoch” and read about it. According to the book of Enoch, you don’t need a demon to protect you from The Watchers. The Watchers tremble and flee at the name of Jesus. Please google it and read it for yourself.

I hate to be blunt but, I'm not looking for a religiously influenced response. I'm an agnostic and I'd really prefer an unbiased source of information. You're siting christianity as a way of dealing with my problem. This is not an issue that can be solved by praying to jesus or the bible. And again, I do not need an exorcist or a priest because, other than draining my energy, it has not harmed me or shown malevolence in any way. What I hope for is an answer as to what the watchers may be, why this thing sees it necessary to protect me from them, and maybe some conclusions that could be drawn that could possibly shed some light on my situation.

Answering metaphysical questions without any influences of religion is difficult.

First I'm going to clarify some of the terms being used. Agnostic is a word many people use for many different meanings. So I don't really know what in particular you mean by it, unless you are just saying "I don't believe there's a god."

I believe there are spirits everywhere, as numerous as humans at least. I believe there are good ones and bad ones. I usually only refer to the bad ones as demons because it is easier to communicate with other religions that use the term in a like-wise manner.

The only reference to Watchers that I know of is indeed in the Book of Enoch as Pter said. Most agree that they were angels (spirits) who somehow created half-human progeny. The Watchers also introduced a large amount of secret knowledge to the human race including metal working techniques and witchcraft. Though according to the book, all the watchers were bound by more poweful spirits.

The concept of befriending stronger demons to fend off weaker demons goes back centuries and I've found is most prevalent in the recorded history of the ancient orient.

If it were me, I would get rid of the thing. I wouldn't want anything draining my energy, and I wouldn't trust it, personally. I can see how the safety net could be comforting though.

As far as christianity goes. I do not personally claim it, but I have seen practitioners of "christian magic" (Of course they don't call it that cause then it would be evil to them ;))do some amazing things. So I would be hesitant to say someone praying to jesus and using the bible cannot solve things.

In my post, I referred to something leaning over my bed in the dark and I talked to someone who is very sensitive and knows a good amount drew something similar and told me it might have been a watcher, but I wasn't sure how it is related to the book of enoch so much. It didn't remind me of what it looked like, or what it's purpose is. I wish I knew, it might help me understand some things.

This watcher thing has caught my attention for some reason, maybe just because I don't have a good answer for the ideas presented. It seems there must be more to it than the Watchers I referred to previously. So I'm going to dig a little deeper and see if I can't find some other references.

Having read all the posts in this thread I must admit to being concerned. You asked for help to better understand what is going on here, so here goes. First, the idea of a "good" demon is an oxymoron. A lesser demon yes; good, never. Demons can be the epitome of patience. This thing sensed a vulberability in you and has made itself at home. Perhaps it is waiting for you to reach an all time low before causing untold havoc. Perhaps it is waiting for some other opportunity to arise. Whatever the case, the status quo can remain the same for years and change in an instant! It seems you don't really want to be rid of him, and I am curious as to why. I have met others who have demons with them. The act of having a demon with them makes them feel self important, a trick demons use to entrench themselves. However, I don't know you and cannot say with any certainty if this is the case. In a nutshell, it appears you have a lesser demon messing with your mind and your life. This opens the door for other, darker things including possible possession. I don't think anyone was trying to convince you of a religeous answer, but merely offering you written material that speaks about demons and their tricks. You need to get rid of this thing, regardless of how you do it

Post Re: My "Protector"
Hello All :)
Just read the posts..
A demon is a demon, no matter how u look at it. A good demon, I dont know where someone finds " good " in demon.
Sometimes a demon can enter and start off all nicey nice, and all protective, being your " friend " etc. but slowly exhausts your body, makes one weaker, crankier, saddens, nervous, sick / sicker, the list goes on and on. The weaker the person is the easier it is for the demon to take over the body. He then believes / says the body is his, no longer yours. Once the body is drained to weakness, this is when he can start with harmful things, if he chooses and you are too weak to react. With your friend challenging it, my opinion is, that its not a good thing to be doing. You never know what a demon is capable of.
It's not something to play with.
Also if you are playing with the oujia board, thats a bad bad bad thing to do. Those boards brings in spirits you do not want to be associated with. They lie, and they will / can hurt you. If you didnt properly close the board , saying good bye , and whatnot, the spirit can follow you. They dont just come one night and say " ok your boring, lets move on to the next person ".. doesnt happen that way. Oujia boards are pure evil.

Thump
