My friend's mom claimed she could lay her hands on a sick person and take the sickness from their body into her own. She would then have to throw up to get rid of it. I always thought she was full of bull and just wanted my dad to like her, lol. What do ya'll think? Ever heard of that ability or got proof of it?

i dont have any proof and i wouldnt try to prove it but yes it does exiist. have experienced it first hand and it does happen.

I think it works for some people, but am always wary of those who brag about the ability. More often than not, they are seeking attention or are actively trying to "one up" someone making similar claims.

well many often make claims for attention. but if it is true for some then it is more over the some who it is not true for that should be examined.

I've used a form of therapeutic or healing touch on my daughter when she cut her foot. It worked quite well, to my surprise. I find I get irregular results though, and sometimes it works great and sometimes nothing. Too bad I can't control it better.

Maybe you should try developing it so that you have a little more control. I know it is difficult to turn such things on and off, but having a little more control can be good.

My husband got a long cut on his arm and a friend of ours reached over and , for lack of a better word, pursed the skin on both sides together. The only thing left on his arm was a drop or two of blood. The weirdest thing about it was when we tried to thank her she didn't know what we were talking about, she had no memory of what she did.

I definitely think that this is true. Some people can help heal others by touching the sick people. I've heard that people like this have been around for thousands of years.

that is exactly the kind of event i was referring to in my first post in this topic. as there were no before pics and no after scaring. it left it kind of hard to prove other than word of mouth by other spectators. but when it happened i had no real memory after of what had happened. i know what i saw, and i know what wasnt there after wards. so glad you stuck your toes in first, as i was just a bit reluctant to say any thing about such things. as mothersaga had said, so many just make claims for the attention, and i have no need for such. no in that way any how. just like to be little ole me and leave it at that. any way thank you and peace out wolfie
