last Tuesday we were watching a movie and Roman (he see's the guy in his room) went to the bathroom but the light wouldn't turn on so I went in to change the bulb but the entire light was ripped out the ceiling, it was only the light socket hanging by the wires and the globe was smashed on the floor and the metal part of the light bulb was on top of the shelves, only way it could get up there is if the light bulb was unscrewed and thrown...Then later that night I was trying to get the light back in working order and Roman starts yelling to us that he has somthing stuck in his foot, When we went up stairs the light at the end of the hall (right infront of his room) was ripped out and he had stepped in the glass... Now for Wednesday...Got up and realized that the power was out, So I went to check the breaker and It was good, called the power company to see if they had shut the power off and they didn't...They came out to see what the problem was and they searched everything and didn't find anything, right before they left it came back on and all my stereos in the entire house were on and turned all the way up and my alarm clocks were all set at random times.... Thursday...Ashley was helping Roman paint his room, they had all his stuff in the hall in boxes, when they were done they went to my parents house....when they got home the boxes were knocked over (they blamed the dog)... Ashley went in to see if it was dry but there was a star on the floor made out of the long peices of tinker toys and a jump rope was around it and the center of the star had a key chain of the St.Louis Rams, it is the ram head! I don't know much about stuff like that but I do know that is not a good thing to have show up in my sons room... Friday night Ashley and I were out and Roman was at home with a baby sitter. We were only gone about an hour and the sitter calls me and tells that our phone keeps ringing but when she answers theres no one there, so I tell her she can turn it off if she wants...Then about 20 minutes later (8:30ish) someone knocks on the door (nearest neighbors are 12 miles away) but she ignores them cause I told her that were not expecting anything and if anyone comes over they will have a key to get in. Then she lets Kitty out (our germanshepard, husky, blacklab mix) to go potty and he does what he needs to but then he goes to the front door and barks to be let back in, so she let him in, thing is that she noticed that there were only one set of footprints coming to the house but they never go back away. Then when I get home she tells us about the phone in more detail and how someone came over and they appeared to have disapeared. I go and follow the prints but they dead end about half a mile from our house on a pond so i walked all the way around the pond and no one had gone to it...So is the pond a portal or something????

Re: Broken lights, lost power, STAR WITH RAM!
Hey there,
First thing I would like to know is which way was the main point of the star facing? Was it up or down relative to the St. Louis Ram?
With all the activity you are experiencing I am concerned for you and I really think you need to have a paranormal investigator visit the property.
It is suggested that water, especially moving water, enhances spirit activity. Do you know if there is an underground water source on the property as well as the pond?
I strongly suggest you proceed with caution. Also, I would suggest that you do all that you can to create a positive vibe within the house. I don't know if you are spiritual person, but I would fill the house with things that make your family happy and comfortable. So maybe hanging up an old family heirloom cross from grandma, light family-favorite scented candles, bring in fresh flowers, or even putting bibles out in view. By creating positive energies around you and maintaining a positive energy within yourself, you can affect the strange and possibly negative energy that has been causing issues for you and your family.
Another suggestion I have is bringing Citrine into the home. Citrine is a gemstone that resonates a highly positive energy. Though Citrine is used for many things, especially with crystal healing, Citrine is known for being highly protective and great at transmuting negative energies. Another plus is it suggested to increase and maintain money flow.
The only thing one should know about Gemstones is that the stones need to be cleansed before they can be used and they also need to be programed. This is easy to do. Go to this site for cleansing gemstones:
Please keep us informed and hopefully we can find a way to clear the energy and give you and your family some peace.

Sounds to me like someone is pulling your leg - most likely Roman. He's always involved. Most common denominator and all that.

It can't be Roman because he's 4, can't reach any of the lights and has never seen a pentagram or anything like it...oh and he was with my wife at the time at my parents house which is about 20 miles away...

Oh my. I would follow Moe's advice. That's all pretty intense and not in a friendly way. I would also recommend not trying to provoke it, leave that to an investigator if you hire one.

Hm. That does put a kink in my idea, then. Does anyone else tend to be around when these things happen - besides yourself, of course. In the meantime, excluding Roman, here is what I think of the rest:

What does that part mean?

You didn't hear this either? One, I might be able to accept, as you were watching a movie, but the second one... you could hear Roman yelling from where it occurred, and ripping a light out of a wall and smashing it would make a lot of noise.

This also doesn't make any sense. You called these people to repair your power. Why would they leave with a shrug and an "I have no idea"?

This actually isn't really paranormal in the slightest. When the power goes off in my house, when it comes back on all the digital clocks are either set to 12:00 midnight or a random time, depending on the brand. Stereos and TVs also turn on sometimes when power is restored, depending on their status when the power went off, and their volume settings are often changed.

Helping a four-year-old paint his room?

Did you take a picture of it? Also, in what direction were the toys knocked over? Was anyone in the house when they left?

Also not necessarily paranormal. It happens when someone is trying to call you but their connection is bad. I have a close family member overseas in Iraq; when he calls home, we often have to answer the phone several times before the connection takes.

Depending on the surfaces around the pond and your house, it could be very easy for someone to walk to the pond, to your house, and away without leaving prints.

Re: Broken lights, lost power, STAR WITH RAM!
In another blog I explain that he woke up and he said that there was a guy standing in his room topic1226.html
As for not hearing it, I had the movie turned up pretty loud...had to test the limits of my new speakers....
Hmmmm...I have no idea how we didn't hear that unless it happend at the same time as the bathroom, and it was upstairs at the other end of the hall.
One of the workers said that they had to got check the lines, we live in the country and were the last house on the line, and sometimes if there is heavy snow or wind it trips some kind of switch on one of the power poles.
When we had moved into the house all the stereos were unplugged for atleast a week and when I finally got them set up only one had the blinking clock and the rest still had all the presets and the volumes were still normal....
Ummm yea he likes to color and paint, so we let him use a sponge to dab the paint on, it looks like clouds...
we do have a picture on Ashleys phone but its kinda dark, also the toys were tipped towards the front of the house so south west, and there was no one else in the house when they left and when they got home the door was still locked and the alarm had not gone off...
yea I wasn't sure if the phone had to do with anything but that was the only time it has ever done that...
There was about 3 feet of snow....

Even with the TV up, seriously. That would be loud. Literally ripping a light out of the wall or ceiling would make a hell of a noise, let alone the throwing of said light, the shattering of the bulb and the impact of the rest on the wall.

Mmkay.

*shrugs*
Like I said, it doesn't always do that. It depends on their status the last time they lost power. Try messing with them. Try to get the effect to replicate itself.

Post it, please. I'd very much like to see it.

Could you maybe make a diagram in Paint and post it here? I don't know the layout of your house, so just describing direction doesn't help much.

Okay.

All around the lake? All around your house? No breaks whatsoever? Streets? Trails? Sidewalks?

You're quite the debunker, CE! I'm curious as to what the direction of toys being knocked over would mean to you? Wind? A door opening and knocking them down? Magnetic force fields!? lol, no really though, I'm curious.
Also, it was mentioned that they live in the country, it's very likely there aren't any sidewalks or even paved streets near them. So be it in snow or dirt, there would most likely be a trail, no? Plus, it only led one way from the pond to the house. Non-paranormal explanation: hover craft!

I practice every morning right after I wake up. Twenty reps of four ghost stories each, most rational explanation for all of them.
*manly pose*

If they were knocked over in the direction of the room, it's possible that they simply fell into that position.

Likely, but I'd still like to know for sure.

Actually, I just thought of something. Had the babysitter left when you went to examine the footprints?
