What do ya'll think bout this Urban Legend?
La Llorona ( LAH yoh ROH nah ) sometimes called the weeping woman or woman in white. A ghost of a woman crying for her children in which she drowned. There are several different versions of the story in which this was supposed to have happened.

Thanks for sharing those links. This is the first time I have heard of this legend. I seen that there were a couple of different theories on whether she killed her children? I wonder what the main legend is? I can see how she would be haunted though in the after life.

That is sad. I had never heard that story before, I wonder if it really is based on truth?

That's a very interesting legend and I really liked the part of the Wiki entry which discussed the 'function' of the La Llorona story. I'm always interested in finding out urban legends that I have never heard of before and this one is really fascinating.
