Re: Where Do You Look For Dream Meanings? i know that you can find a few sites that give some meanings for dreams by doing a search but i am yet to find somewhere that tells you more than just symbols. i would be interested in learning more about what dreams mean as well.

Just remember that many of the meanings vary and do not address today's waking environment. |

Re: Where Do You Look For Dream Meanings? SAGE MOTHER IS CORRECT, THERE ARE MANY MANY SITES OUT THERE DEDICATED TO DREAM INTERRPRETATION. HOWEVER THAT IS JUST IT; IT IS SOMEONE ELSE'S INTERPRETATION OF THE DREAM. AND FOR AS MANY DIFFERNET SITES THAT ARE OUT THERE, THERE ARE JUST AS MANY DIFFERENT INTERPRETATIONS.
AND IN READING SOME OF THESE INTERPRETATIONS, ONE MAY SIMPLY PASS ONE OVER BECAUSE THEY DO NOT AGREE WITH THE INTERPRETATION GIVEN. WHICH LEADS ME TO WONDER WHY PEOPLE SEARCH FOR MEANINGS ELSEWHERE. I THINK WE ARE THE BIGGEST ROSSETTA STONE TO INTERPRETING OUR DREAMS IF WE ACTAULLY TAKE THE TIME FOR SOME PERSONAL REFLECTION ON SELF AND CIRCUMSTANCE _________________

Re: Where Do You Look For Dream Meanings? It is often difficult for one to interpret one's own dreams. I believe that it is due to the difficulty in ability to detach from one's self to be objective enough. I prefer to take a more psychological approach to dream interpretation in lieu of use of symbols.

I do that along with my dream dictionary.I utalize the symbols, colors and what is most common when people dream about certain colors *Which not everyone does and more females do then men* I have found that I resolved alot of issues and normally the symbols are accurate.I've only had one dream that nothing fit with what I was going through and appeared to be jumbled nonsense that my brain tossed out. |
