Our goal is to provide a high quality discussion environment for our visitors, these terms are in place to prevent disruption and maintain a safe and friendly discussion service.
The following terms apply to the discussion forum, chat room. A "post" is defined as any message, comment or media contributed to the above.

Never give you password or login name to anyone else or allow others to use your account. Only ONE account is allowed.

If you are looking for a date site, this is not the place. Discuss the Paranormal is a forum and chat where people can discuss all things concidered paranormal.

1. No spamming
Forum spam includes any of the following:

1a. Advertising : Do not advertise other websites. This site is not a free advertising site, registering for an account to do advertisements will cause suspension of your account. The only type of " advertisment " you are allowed to do is something such as, youtube link, when showing other member music, photos of paranormal, etc. So this means no " recruiting " members to other websites or forums.This includes in forums, chat and pm messages.

1b. Multi-posting: Do not start multiple threads in multiple forum sections or post multiple replies in multiple threads. Posting something once in one place is sufficient. If you accidentally made a double post, please contact a member of the staff.We can remove the post.

1c. Chat room flooding: Do not "flood" the chat room. Flooding involves disrupting the room for other members by intentionally filling up the screen. This is also annoying to other members.

2. Post content
Please read and understand the following before posting:

2a. Offensive material: Do not post crude, sexual references or material, no photos of pornography, sexually explicit content. Remember that we have visitors of all ages, post content should be as 'family friendly' as possible.


2b. Illegal material: Do not post anything which is violative of any law. Or anything that might be participation in criminal offences or plans to enact criminal acts.Remember different places have different laws. This will result in a warning or can end up with suspended account.

2c. Copyrighted material: If you get any information from a linked source, please post the link where you got your information. Post only what is neccessary for the topic, then show a link where you found your information.Please do not post anything that you know is false or misleading.

2d. Please be patience when posting a thread / topic. Do not expect people to reply right away.Some people arent online as much as they would like. If someone doesnt respond to your post as fast as you would like, please do no add another post to ' bump' up to the top of the forum topics.

3a. Please no personal or aggressive attacks on any other members, such as name calling or other insults. If you feel someone has threatened or is attacking you, please contact a site staff.

3b. No racism or sexism is allowed.

3c. No slanderous posts are allowed

3d. No aggressive obscene foul language is allowed

3e. If a moderator Private messages you or asks you in live chat to stop doing something, or a moderator deletes or edits a post,do not repost what has been deleted. Please do not take it personally,and do not make it one. Some rules might seem annoying or silly to you, but there is a good reason for all the rules so that the forum can run as smooth as possible.
If a user takes issue with a moderator or administrator's decision on suspension or warning, do not air this publicly.

With the exception of serious rule breaking (Serious rule breaking will result in an instant ban of the screen name and IP) people who abuse the rules will be given a warning,It will be up to the moderator how many warnings to give , up to 3.

4a. Religion: Do not try to convince other members that their religion is ' wrong', everyone has different beliefs. Do not down someone's beliefs.Including beliefs on religion

I want this to be an open forum about anything paranormal, ask questions, make statements, post your pictures, or look for answers.
