I was working on my computer the other night and at the time was quite over come with emotion due to an emotional conversation with my boyfriend,when suddenly my computer started to play music.I was instantly shocked and checked to see what i had running at the time,and there was no explanation for this to have happened.Can this happen with the mind at emotional times?

The mind is very powerful, yes. However, things of this nature can occur, especially when someone is distressed. This could have been the power of your mind needing to hear a specific song, which has meaning to you and/or your boyfriend. It could have been not your mind playing tricks on you, but your mind making it happen. Do you mind sharing what the song was and if it has meaning to the two of you?

The song was one i don't ever recall hearing in my life.Although i was so shocked that it happened,that i was concentrating on finding out if i had started music by accident that i didn't focus on the music.If i knew what the song was(it was heavy metal,rock kind of music)i would have asked him if he knew the song,but i just don't recall knowing it.Although it is my favorite kind of music,lol

I had that happen to me as well, but nothing was running on the computer just the screen saver. I took the computer in and the man who worked on it did not know what it would do that either. Creepy to say the least.
